Mangaluru: A vaccination programme for Haj pilgrims was organised by the Haj Committee at Yenepoya Hospital at Kodialbail on Tuesday. It was inaugurated by State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister called upon all Haj pilgrims to pray for the welfare and betterment of the state during their Haj tour. He said the State government has made all arrangements for the smooth travel of Haj pilgrims.
Yenepoya Mohammad Kunhi, President of Mangaluru Haj Management Committee presided over the function. Machhampady Abdul Hameed Musliyar, Chief of Darul Irshad Educational Centre, Maani offered Duwa.
Sarfaraz Khan of State Haj Committee, MK Aboobakker Siddique, State Haj Committee Member, Dr Tahir, Chief Medical Officer of Yenepoya Hospital and others were present.
