Mangaluru: Vajradehi Swamiji submitted a written statement through his lawyer to Bantwal police on Monday, following the notice issued by Bantwal Circle inspector. Swamiji had claimed at press meet on Friday that he has an explosive lead in RSS activists Sharath Madiwala’s murder.
Fod minister U T Khader reacted saying that suppressing any kind of information related to a crime is an offence. He asked Swamiji to give proof to police if he has. "Those, who have information related to a crime should pass on the same to the police. It shows that they don’t trust the police," he opined.
Speaking to the reporters Advocate Mahesh Kaje said that Swamiji was engaged in Chaturmasa rituals at Mutt, but has submitted his written statemnet through him to Investigating officer at Bantwal police station and the reports will be revealed to public at the appropriate time.
