Sullia: In a shocking incident, a young woman was lured and gang raped at Chokkady in Sullia taluk on Monday evening.
Police have arrested one person in this connection, while search is for the two other accused. The incident is learnt to have occurred when the young woman was taking milk to the milk dairy.
It is said three men including two autorickshaw drivers had waylaid the woman and had somehow lured her and had taken her to a rubber estate where they reportedly raped her. Further investigations are underway.
