Mount Carmel Feast 2020 Songea at Mpandangindo, Tanzania

Carmelites in Songea at Mpandangindo celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on 18th of July with great pomp.

The solemn Eucharist was presided by Very Rev. Fr. Michael Kahemela, Professor of Peramiho Seminary and concelebrated by 19 priests representing different Congregations and also priests from Songea archdiocese including Frs. Roshan Pinto and Raymond Santhanaz.

The solemn Eucharist was at 10.30 am. Almost 60 nuns, novices, postulants and candidates belonging to different congregations were present.

All the diocesan priests individually and all the religious per each community was given a memento as a gratitude for their presence. After the solemn mass there was a monastic agape to share the festive joy and unity.
