Mangaluru: MLC Ivan D’Souza revealed that he intends to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. "I too am one of the ticket aspirants, I will contest if the High Command gives me a ticket," D’Souza said.
"There was nothing wrong in me being an MP ticket aspirant, as minority voters are in large numbers in the Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency. I am sure I can win the elections with the backing of party," he said.
On senior leader B Janardhana Poojary too expressing his desire to contest, Ivan said it would be welcome if the high command gives him a ticket.
