Huawei opens 17 new service centres in India

New Delhi, (IANS) In a bid to enhance after-sale device support, smartphone manufacturer Huawei on Monday launched 17 exclusive service centres across the country.

The service centres are located in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Indore, Pune, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Delhi, Gurgaon and Ludhiana.

"As customer satisfaction is one of the most important aspects, with the launch of these exclusive service centres, we can now assure best in class after-sale services to our consumers," said P. Sanjeev, Vice-President, Sales, Huawei India Consumer Business Group, in a statement.

In addition to handsets repair, replacement, hardware and software checks and updates, the service centres will also provide appointment booking, free recycling of waste mobile phones and other electronics products.

The company also launched an app called 'HiCare' for customers to register their device, find a nearby service station, schedule a call back or opt for an online chat to fix issues.
