US dollar ends higher against rupee

Mumbai, (PTI) The US dollar ended higher against the rupee at Rs 68.79/80 per dollar but the pound sterling finished lower at Rs 90.05/07 at the close of the Interbank Foreign Exchange (forex) market here today.

 Following are the Interbank forex and RBI rates :

(In Rs per unit) Unit Interbank RBI Reference US Dollar 68.79/80 US Dollar Rs 68.9389 Pound Sterling 90.05/07 EURO Rs 79.6382 Euro 79.71/73 Japanese yen (100) 62.
