12th Kalakar Puraskar

Applications / Recommendations are invited from Konkani artistes of Karnataka origin, of any dialect, religion, caste and creed, for the annual ‘Kalakar Puraskar’ awarded by Mandd Sobhann in association with Carvalho Gharannem.

The Award includes Rs. 25,000/- Cash, Memento, Certificate and Public Honour.

The 12th Kalakar Puraskar will be presented at Kalaangann, on Nov. 6, 2016, at 6 p.m..

It is decided that this year an artiste of Karnataka origin, who has specially contributed towards the enrichment of Konkani performing arts (music, dance, theatre, or folk-arts), be selected for the Award.

Applications / Recommendations along with a photo, list of achievements, proof and paper cuttings, should be sent to – Mandd Sobhann, Kalaangann, Makale, Shaktinagar, Mangalore – 575 016, by Oct. 10, 2016.
