Mangaluru: The 163rd Monthly Theatre of Mandd Sobhann titled ‘Geet Sangeet’, a musical show by Anil & Laveena Pais, Kuwait, was presented on Sun., July 5, 2015, at 6.30 p.m., at Kalaangann.

Laveena Pais, Anita D’Souza, Shilpa Cutinho, Smenita Pinto, Eric Ozario, Prajoth D’Sa, Rony Crasta, Ashwin D’Costa and Naveen Ranjith beautifully rendered the songs, while renowned musicians – Roshan D’Souza (lead guitar), Richard Monteiro (keyboard), Sachin Sequeira (drums), Jerome Coelho (bass guitar), Sunil Kumar (violin), Jaison Lasrado (accordion) and Anil Pais (rhythm guitar) – backed them. ‘Kuwait Friends’ presented jokes and Nach Sobhann entertained the packed audience with foot-tapping dances. Annu Bantwal compered the show.

On this occasion, Vishwa Konkani Kala Ratn Eric Ozario released the Konkani audio album ‘Mogak Ashetam’ by Harry Correa, Dolvin Mendonca and Roshan Belman.
