Kundapur, May 8: The members of the Kundapur church celebrated the silver jubilee function of ordination of parish priest of Kundapur Holy Rosary church, Rev. Fr. Anil D’souza,.

On Sunday evening, in the presence of Rev.Fr. Baptist Menezes, the monsignor priest of Udupi diocese and along with other priest, Rev.Fr. Anil D’souza offered the holy sacrifice. Rev. Fr. Chethan Lobo delivered the message.

Later Rev.Fr.Anil was felicitated. The choir team sang the choir. The Asst.Parish priest Rev.Fr. Prakash Paul D’souza welcomed all. Rev. Fr. Anil and representatives of various associations lightenned twenty five lights placed in a single bouquet. The parish priest of Udupi diocese P. R. O Rev.Fr. Denis D’sa delivered the congratulatory speech.

Johnson Almeida-the vice president read out the certificate. Rev.Fr. Baptist Menezes honoured Rev. Fr. Anil D’souza on behalf of people of Kundapur. Aravind, brother of Rev.Fr. Anil D’souza shared some memories about his brother.

“Jesus and mother Mary always strengthen me in my religious service; I feel very happy that you all came together in one mind and organized this event for me” –he conveyed his gratitude.

The chief of the Carmel Association of Kundapur sister Vibha was present on the dais. Secretary-Felciana D’souza-proposed the vote of thanks. Rev. Fr. Praveen Amrith Martis conducted the programme.
