29-year-old dies in accident

Uppinangady: A young bike rider lost his life when his two-wheeler was hit by a lorry near Pedamale on the Uppinangady-Guruvayanakere State Highway on Wednesday morning.

The deceased bike rider has been identified as Ashok Poojary (29). He was on way to Belthangady from Uppinangady when tragedy struck.

Puttur Traffic Police have registered a case. The reason for accident is said to be reckless driving.
