Puttur: A 30-year-old man from Mairkatte in Perne village committed suicide by consuming acid on Saturday November 28. The deceased has been identified as Biju. He working as rubber tapper for a farmer from Perne named Anand.
Anand owns a rubber plantation, and Biju had joined him as rubber tapper about eight months back. Biju was addicted to liquor.
He was frustrated with life. A case of unnatural death was registered in Uppinangady police station.
