55-year-old killed by bus

Udupi: A 55-year-old man was killed after having been hit by a bus near Ranganakere in Heradi village near Brahmavar.

The deceased has been identified as Narasimha Naik (55). Naik had alighted from the bus and was standing on the road when the bus which moved ahead, hit him. He fell on the road after which the rear wheels of the bus crushed him instantly.

He was immediately taken to a hospital at Brahmavar but was declared brought dead on arrival. A case about this incident was registered in Brahmavar police station.
