Mangaluru: Bajpe Police raided a cock fighting event at a public place at Malali Narlapadavu in Mogaru village on Friday. The police have arrested six persons.
Several more accused have escaped during the raid. A total of 38 cocks were seized apart from a knife and cash of Rs 2,300.
The seized cocks were auctioned with court permission for Rs 43,600. The amount has been remitted to the government treasury
