60-year-old dies due to elbow pain

Mangaluru: In a shocking and surprising incident, a woman, who had been admitted into a hospital for elbow pain died on Friday April 15. The deceased is Saraswati (60) from Thokkottu,

Saraswati had been admitted into a private hospital at Deralakatte by her family members for treatment of elbow pain a few days back. There was no improvement in her condition. After the patient died on Friday, Saraswati's family members filed a complaint at Ullal police station, alleging that medical negligence on the part of hospital staff had caused the woman's death.

The policemen have registered the case.
