7-Year-old dies after falling into pond

Bantwal: In a tragic incident, a seven year old boy died after falling into Umashiva Kshetra Temple pond in Kalladka on Friday.

The deceased is Sriram(7), son of Satyanarayana, a resident of Neralakatte.

Sriram accompanied by his friend had been to the pond to play. He accidentally fell into water, though the family rushed to rescue, they could not save him.

Bantwal police have registered the case.
