9th Global Konkani Music Awards - Panel of 3 Judges have selected the Top-3 Nominees

Shri Henry D’Souza (Mumbai) – Lifetime Achievement Award.
Lawry Travasso (Goa) – to perform.
Top-3 Nominees in all 6 categories – announced. 

The first Panel of 3 Judges have selected the Top-3 Nominees of the 9th Global Konkani Music Awards from among many applications / recommendations. The Nominees are –

The second Panel of 3 Judges will select the ultimate winners. All Nominees will be honoured and winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony. Each Award includes Rs. 25,000/- cash prize, the coveted title and a trophy.

The Awards Ceremony will be held on Sun., Dec. 10, 2017, at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar, Mangaluru, at 6 p.m.. Entry – Free.

Shri Henry D’Souza, Mumbai – of ‘Ye Ye Katrina’ fame, will be bestowed with the ‘3rd Global Konkani Music Lifetime Achievement Award’. The Award consists of a cash amount of Rs. 1 lakh and public honour.

Internationally acclaimed Singer, Actress, Composer and Song Writer, Ms. Vasundhara Das, will be the Chief Guest. Golden Voice of Goa, Lawry Travasso, will perform. Nach Sobhann troupe will also present scintillating dances and there will also be songs by the Singing Club of Mandd Sobhann – Sumell and the Blue Angels Choir.

The Award Ceremony will be compered by Award-winning Playwright and MC Arun Raj Rodrigues and Eminent MC and actor Amora Monteiro.
