A talk on Cyber Crime at St Philomena P.U.College , Puttur

Computer Club of St Philomena P.U.College organized a talk on Cyber Crime on 26/07/2019 at Silver Jubilee Memorial Hall.

The President,Rev Fr Vijay Lobo , Principal , St Philomena P.U.College , Puttur said that Computers play a dominant role in today's world. So, we should be careful while using computers because it has both advantages and disadvantages.

The resource person ,Mr Nagaraj K ,Asst. Professor of Computer Science and Engineering VCET, Puttur said that prevention is better than cure. He said that students should spend time and care their family members. He also said that it is good to use smart phones but should not be addicted. The use of smart phones can cause headache,neck/back pain,sleep problem, depression and anxiety. He also informed students about various forms of Cyber Crime and the laws to be taken against Cyber Crime.

The programme was coordinated by Mr Anil Kumar K and Ms Yashaswini Convenors of Computer Club.
