ABVP to protest over confusion in degree results

Published On : 10 Feb 2017   |  Reported By : Canaranews Network

Mangaluru: Akhil Bharaitya Vidhyarthi Parishad(ABVP) will go on protest on February 11 against Mangaluru University for their confusion on announcing the Degree results. The protest will be supported by ABVP in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu districts.

The functioning of the university left a lot to be desired in the last two-years. Timely conduct and announcement of results is one among the primary functions of the university. The university has stuttered in announcing results over the past three semesters. This is not only casting a doubt on the future of students, but also pointing a finger at the administrative lapses on part of university authorities.

ABVP will be forced to intensify the agitation if the university does not take corrective measures to the examination related issues raised by the organization. They demand the resignation of Chancellor, Vice-chancellor and registrar as these three persons are directly responsible for this situation.
