Mangaluru: Agnes Saldanha, the physical education teacher of St Aloysius Gonzaga School, won gold and silver medals in the Masters Athletics Championship held in Sri Lanka on June 2 and 3.
Agnes bagged gold medals in 400 and 800 meter race and a silver medal in long jump.
Sports and games have been her hobbies since her childhood days. She has won many national and state level awards during her college days. She has also participated in many amateur athletic meets and won several awards.
