Mangaluru: Expert Pre University College Valachil conducted a unique and comprehensive career guidance programme ‘EDU-PATH’ for its II year PUC students.

As part of this, Dr S M Shivaprakash, professor and HOD, department of Fisheries Resources & Management, College of Fisheries here delivered an elaborative and informative lecture on the topic ‘Scope for Agriculture, Veterinary, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Science Degree Programmes’.

He opined that this branch has immense potential for research, economic sustainability and employment generation both in public and private sectors and opens up an ocean of opportunities to the aspirants.

There was an interactive session too where curious students put forth numerous questions to the guest speaker and received clarifications.

Vice principal Raghavendra Shenoy honoured Dr S M Shivaprakash with a memento. Yashaswini introduced the guests and compered the programme. BhuvanV B, discipline secretary extended a formal welcome to the guest and the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks.
