Alumni Day Celebration at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Alumni Association of St Philomena College Puttur organized Alumni Day Celebration on March 2, 2017 in college quadrangle.

Mr. A. Keshava Bhat, Advocate, High Court of Karnataka participated as the chief guest. He said, ‘Nothing is more gratifying to a man than coming to an alma mater.’

 

Mr. Gregory Lobo, AGM (Rtd.), Vijaya Bank, Vidushi Mrs. Nayana V Rai, Recipient of District Best Teacher Award and Mr. N Bhaskar Rai, Dy SP, Puttur also participated as chief guests.

Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Campus Director and Chairman of PG Studies, Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal of the College and Rev. Fr Vijay Lobo Principal of St Philomena PU College participated as the guests of honour.

On this special occasion, student achievers in academics and extracurricular activities at PU, UG and PG level were honoured.

Very Rev. Fr Alfred J Pinto, Correspondent presided over the programme. Mrs. Varija and group presented the prayer song. Mr. M R Jayakumar Rai, President of Alumni Association welcomed the gathering. Mr. Bharath Kumar A, Secretary presented the Annual Report.

Ms. Shakuntala, Joint Secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Suresh Shetty and Mrs. Prathima Hegde compered the programme.
