Alva's Kannada Medium, English Medium High School records 98.66% pass

Moodbidri: In the recently conducted SSLC examination, Alva's Kannada Medium and English Medium High School recorded its highest ever pass percentage. A total of 903 students wrote the examination and 885 of them passed, thereby recording a 98.66 pass percentage.

Pranshula Prashanth, a student of Alva's English Medium School scored 624 marks and secured the second rank in the state and first rank in the district. Lavanya Shahapura scored 622 marks and secured third rank in the district.

Alva's Kannada Medium High School saw Sudhanva Nadigere score 619 marks with a first rank, Shashank stood second with 618 marks and Santhosh took the third rank with 617 marks. Pradeep Ramappa Desai occupied the fourth rank with a score of 616.

Alva's Kannada and English Medium had a combined total of 46 students scoring over 600 marks in the examination. 62 students scored over 95%, 180 scored over 90% and 353 students scored over 85%. The president of Alva's Educational Insitution, Dr M Mohan Alva conveyed his congratulations to all the successful students.
