Annual parish feast celebrated at Holy Rosary Church

Moodbidri: The annual parish feast of Holy Rosary Church Alangar, Moodbidri, was celebrated on Thursday, October 26. Hundreds of devotees and 35 priests partook in the Eucharistic celebration, presided over by Dr William D’Souza, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Patna.

Archbishop Dr D'Souza, in his message, noted that celebration of feasts helps retain traditions and strengthen familial bonds.

Fr Paul Sequeira, dean of Moodbidri deanery, shared the Word and called everyone to reflect upon the life of Mother Mary, a person of love. He concluded that everyone ought to work towards building a family of love.

Local MLA, Abhaychandra Jain, greeted the congregation after the Eucharistic celebration. Parish priest Fr Basil Vas and Fr Kenneth Crasta thanked everyone present. Vice-president of the parish council Jerald Lobo, secretary Santhosh Rodrigues, and municipality member and parish council member P K Thomas, were present amongst other devotees.
