Annual sports meet ‘Pratibha 2k17’ held at FMHMC

Mangaluru: Annual sports meet ‘Pratibha 2k17’ was inaugurated at Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College Ground, Deralakatte on December 9 by hoisting the flag and releasing the balloons in the air by chief guest Ashok T, Circle Inspector of Konaje police station.

In his message he stressed the importance of sports, games and physical exercise in the life of every person and especially in the lives of students as they are burdened with lot of studies. One hour everyday in the ground brings physical, mental fitness & peace, he said.

Fr Vincent Saldanha, administrator, Fr Sylvester Vincent Lobo, assistant administrator, Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, principal in-charge, Dr Sajan K R, sports coordinator, Chennakeshava, physical education instructor, Goutham K S, sports secretary, Upendranath, president, students association and faculty members were present.

March-past led by different houses was the main feature of the programme. Upendra, president of student association welcomed the dignitaries and Gautham K S rendered the vote of thanks.
