Arivu Loan Mela for CET students inaugurated

Udupi: Arivu Loan Mela for CET students for Engineering, Medicine and all other courses by Karnataka Examination Authority, organized jointly by Minority Development corporation, Devaraj Aras corporation for OBC and Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh was inaugurated by V Rev Fr Valerian Mendonca Chancellor of Udupi Diocese on 4-6-2018 in the Catholic Sabha office hall. Mohammad Safvan, Asst Directore Minority Development Corporation explained the scheme.

 

He said that the students who wrote CET and NEET exam if they select any course under KEA need not pay any fees since fees is already deposited to CET by Corporation. Students have to repay at 2% interest after the study.

For medicine under NEET student will get Rs 3.25 Lakhs per year. Dr Gerald Pinto former Principal of Milagres College explained the procedure of verification of documents and seat selection.

Mr Alwyn Quadras president presided and welcomed the gathering. Maxim D Souza the secretary proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs Mary D Souza compered.

Mr. Elroy Kiran Crasto, convener of Govt Facilities of Catholic Sabha and former president Valreian Fernandes were present. Eight volunteers of Catholic Sabha are doing the registration work simultaneously under the guidance of department officials. A large no of Muslims and OBC students are present along with their parents. We requests Christians to avail the benefit. The process is open today and tomorrow.
