Mangaluru: In an unfortunate incident, an auto rickshaw driver died after his auto rickshaw overturned at the circle near the circuit house at Kadri Hill on April 14 evening. The deceased is Everest (52) from Ranipura.
Everest was driving his auto towards A J Hospital at Kuntikana from the direction of Nanthoor, when he lost control over the vehicle when negotiating the circle. The auto lost its balance and fell on its side.
Everest suffered grave injuries in the accident and succumbed to injuries. Three passengers who were travelling in the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The policemen have undertaken investigation.
