Auto rickshaw driver succumbs in accident

Udupi: An auto rickshaw that was moving at high speed met an accident near Rampura Junction at Alevoor. The auto driver has succumbed to injuries. He has been identified as Balakrishna.

The three-wheeler was moving towards Dendurkatte from the direction of Rampura when its wheels skidded near Alevoor Junction. The auto rickshaw tumbled in this accident, as a result of which Balakrishna suffered serious head injuries.

Arrangements were made to take him to hospital, but he breathed his last on the way. A case about this accident was registered at Manipal police station.
