Awareness Programme on PAN at St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: Suraksha Consumer Forum of St Philomena College Puttur organized an awareness programme on PAN on February 6, 2016 in Spandana seminar hall of the college. The Financial Consultant of Wealth Vision Mr. Muralidhar K was the resource person. He said, ‘The permanent account number or PAN has grown in importance and is today a vital part of any financial transaction. The tax department allots the PAN to an individual for the purpose of identification and to relate to various transactions and information pertaining to him.’

 

Principal Prof. Leo Noronha presided over the function. The office executives Mr. Prajwal and Mr. Manoj of Wealth Vision extended the co-operation in organizing this programme. The convenor of Suraksha Consumer Forum Prof. Dinakara Rao compered the programme. About 100 students availed the benefit of this programme.
