Mangaluru: Mangaluru City Police Commissioner T R Suresh has passed n order suspending Mallikarjuna, the gunman of BJP Minorities Morcha leader Rahim Uchil.
The gunman was suspended for a photo with Rahim Uchil and even taking a selfie which was later http://canaranews.com/uploaded on FB by Rahim. It has been learnt taking a photo thus was against the service rules of a gunman. He is also facing allegation of going on leave without intimation and without applying for leave.
The gunman had posed with Rahim Uchil while the latter was leaving for Dubai. Later he had handed over his gun to the armed reserve force and left hometown without informing his higher ups.
Rahim Uchil has been provided gunman security by the Mangaluru Police Commissionerate ever since an attempt was made on his life on March 15, 2012 when he was the Beary Academy Chief.
