BJP protests demanding Minister George’s resignation

Mangaluru : District unit of the BJP staged a protest in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Saturday to pressurise State Minister K J George to quit in the wake of the Supreme Court ordering a CBI probe into the DySP Ganapathi suicide case.

Sanjeev Matandoor, District BJP Presidentaddressed the protestors," CM has been shielding George by ordering a CID probe into the case earlier, despite the DySP clearly naming the minister and accusing him of harassment in an interview prior to his death. But our CM has turned blind eye. But with Supreme Court orderinga CBI probe, it is sure that K J George is involved in the case. He should eb removed as minister."

BJP General Secretary Capt. Brijesh Chowta, Devadas Shetty, Monappa Bhandari, Kishore Rai, Vedavyas Kamath were present among others.
