Udupi: Udupi Dsitrict Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP) staged protest near Clock Tower, Service Bus stand Udupi condemning the murder of Rudresh R who was murdered in day light at Bangaluru and demanding quick action. BJP protestors shouted slogans against the state government and failure of the police to arrest the assailants

Addressing the protesters, Mattar Rathnakar Hegde, President of Udupi District BJP Committee said that as soon as Congress came to power in the state, released the criminals of SIF and other connected organizations. Therefore, now since three years BJP workers and Sangh Parivar leaders and activists targeted and killed. But government had done nothing to ensure their security. This is due to the failure of the Congress government and supporting the criminals.

Mattar Rathnakar Hegde said that in Kerala the percentage of vote for BJP increased to 22% . In order to put break of the popularity of BJP in Kerala, the communists are murdering the Sangh Parivar activists and BJP activists. Karnataka Government is trying to Kerala type killings of activists. This may be tragedy to Congress government in the state that we will stage massive protest in the state.

Meanwhile, since three years, Congress administration failed in the state in all fronts. No law and order in the state, no funds for the development and others. Officers in the Police department were either resigning or committing suicide. He said in Chiathra Poojary’s suicide case, the accused have been protected and no FIR filed due to district in charge minister’s intervention against the arrest of accused.

K. Raghupathy Bhat, Former MLA said that the death of Rudresh in Bangaluru reflected the law and order situation prevailing in the state. He attacked the Pramod Madhwaraj for the safety of cow thieves in the district and so for them it will get the courage to do the crime. Whole over the state the congress looses the faith of the people. He said that in the Chaitrha suicide case, Pramod Madhwaraj was protecting the accused and directly made phone to police not to arrest the accused in the case. District Minister in charge was held responsible for the problem of sand mining which setback to all the businesses in the district. Bhat claimed that there is no development in the district. Pramod busy with the felicitation rather development.
