The BJP has already sought the permission of the Police Department for holding this 22 km long Padayatra which will be held under the leadership of MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC's Capt Ganesh Karnik and Kota Srinivas Poojary. The government which had announced a grant of Rs 5 crore for the development of the birth place of Koti Chennaya, had not released even a single penny towards the same.
