BJP workers throw egg on Ramya's car

Mangaluru: BJP workers gathered at Mangaluru international airport and at Kenjaru Circle to protest against actress turned politician Ramya who arrived in city on Thursday, August 25.

BJP workers held protest condemning the statement made by Ramya where she praised the Pakistan people’s hospitality. The protestors also demonstrated black flags.

Later when Ramya arrived at Kenjaru, the big gathering of protestors shouted slogans against her and some people also threw eggs at her car. But convoy of cars did not stop and went towards city.

Ramya has come to city to participate in a private Mosaru Kudike programme.

Ramya was in Pakistan recently and she had said that Pakistan is not hell as some people said in India. Her comments attracted widespread protests in the state especially from BJP.
