Beach Cleaning Drive at Hoode Beach

Udupi: A beach cleaning drive for Hoode beach was undertaken by the NSS, YRC and Rotaract Club of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal.

The drive was conducted in association with a team of 50 corporates from Bengaluru led by Arundathi Rao, director (corporate), H P Enterprises, Bengaluru on March 19.

Around 40 students along with the principal and three faculty members participated. Local panchayat leaders and NSS volunteers of Milagres College also took part in the drive. Pramod Madhwaraj, state minister for fisheries, sports and youth affairs visited the venue and appreciated the service.
