Bishop Gerald Isaac Lobo of Udupi Diocese condoles the death of Dr. Abdul Kalam

Udupi, 29th Jul : His Lordship Most Rev. Dr Gerald Isaac Lobo Bishop of Udupi Diocese on Tuesday July 28 condoled the death of Former President APJ Abdul Kalam.

In an official press release issued by Bishop’s House, Bishop stated that having brought up in a poor family, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s dedication led him to become a global leader in building India. His sudden demise has saddened us.

Dr Kalam’s vision for developing India has influenced young minds. He devoted his retirement life to educate the youth. He was an exemplary leader who served as the President of India, his simplicity and devotion towards work is commendable. He lived up to the expectations of the people and remained transparent until he breathed his last.

He may be a Muslim by religion but adored all faiths. He has lived a humanitarian life. Let Dr Kalam’s inspiration lead us, long live Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
