Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha blesses renovated cemetery at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church Madanthyar

Cemetery is holy place for all the Christians, it is a place of hope. Keeping these thoughts in mind Sacred Heart of Jesus Church cemetery was renovated and made very attractive.

Small prayer hall has been built with basic facilities along with walls around the cemetery. Fruit bearing and other beautiful trees are been planted around the cemetery with necessary water facilities. Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha conducted the prayer service and blessed the graves. While addressing to the gathering, Bishop requested all the people to maintain the sanctity of this sacred place. People those who worked for this project were facilitated by the Bishop.
