Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurates Sports Indoor Stadium at Sacred Heart College Madanthyar

Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated UGC grant Sports Indoor Stadium at Sacred Heart College Madanthyar on February 27th 2019 at 10:30 am. Bishop of Mangalore Diocese and the President of Catholic Board of Education Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha inaugurated and blessed this sports indoor stadium.

After the inaugural ceremony, formal stage programme and felicitation programme was held Rev. Fr Antony Serra - Secretary, Catholic Board of Education , Rev. Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas – Parish Priest, St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Ammembal, Rev. Fr Jerome DSouza – Principal, Sacred Heart PU College, MLA Harish Poonja, MLC Harish Kumar, Dr Kishore Kumar, Gopalkrishna K were the dignitaries present during the occasion.

Bishop in his message enlightened all the students with the importance of Sports in once life. All the guests highlighted the importance of sports in every once life along with studies and strongly urged students to make best use of this indoor stadium in a productive way. All those who were instruments in executing this mega project were honoured. Sumputous meals were served to the gathering.
