Bishop celebrates the joy of Christmas with the inmates of St Anthony’s Ashram Jeppu

Mangaluru: Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza the Bishop of Mangalore celebrated the Holy Mass for the inmates of St Anthony’s Ashram and distributed ‘kuswar’ to the inmates. The Bishop in his message said that the feast of Christmas is a feast of sharing. In sharing those who share enjoy peace and those who receive also become happy.

Mr Marcel Monteiro and Mr Felix Albuquerque the Governing Board members of St Anthony’s Charity Institutes, Mr Vincent Mascarenhas the Secretary of Diocesan Social & Media Committee and Mr Stanley were present on the occasion.

Earlier during the day the Bishop blessed the ‘crib’ at the gate of St Anthony’s which depicts the scene of Jesus’ birth place.

Fr Francis D’Souza the Administrator compeered the programme. Fr Onil D’Souza the director thanked one and all. Fr Peter Gonsalves the Asst director was present on the occasion.
