Blood Donation Camp at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru

The Youth Red Cross, AIDS Awareness Education Cell and the NSS Unit I of St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru organized a one-day Blood Donation Camp on Friday, 13 December 2019 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the A4, Avila Block in collaboration with Fr. Muller Medical College, Mangaluru and United Friends Club, Bejai, Mangaluru. Principal Sr. Dr. M. Jeswina A.C. was the Inaugurator and Sr. Dr. Maria Roopa A.C., the Joint-Secretary of the College was the Chief Guest. Dr. Charu Khosla, Department of Pathology Fr Muller Medical College explained the importance of Blood Donation. Students from other colleges, parents and well-wishers attended this programme and donated blood. Around 106 pints of blood collected.

Mr Arun Rodrigues, President and Mr Leslie Gomes, Convener of Blood Donation Camp of United Friends Club, Bejai, the Programme Co-ordinators of the NSS Unit I of the College, Mrs Helen Serrao Co-ordinator of Youth Red Cross Mrs Jayashree B. were present on the dais.
Ms Ayesha Abdul Kader, Secretary of Youth Red Cross and AIDS Awareness Education Cell, compered the programme. Ms Shreenavya, NSS Secretary welcomed the gathering. NSS Secretary, Ms Manasa Nair proposed vote of thanks.
