Puttur: Youth Red Cross Society and National Services Scheme of St Philomena College, Indian Red Cross Society Puttur, Rotary Club Puttur Swarna in association with KMC Hospital Blood Bank Mangalore has organized Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at St Philomena College Puttur on August 3, 2016.

Dr. Apoorva, KMC Hospital Mangalore participated as the resource person. In his address, he gave various instructions which are to be followed while donating the blood.
Mr. Oscar Anand, Presidnet of Indian Red Cross Society Puttur participated as chief guest. Prof. Leo Noronha, Principal of the College presided over the programme.
The Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society Puttur Mr. A J Rai, President of Rotary Club Puttur Swarna Mr. Suresh N, Rotarian Manohar and Rotarian Dinesh were present on this occasion.
The Convenor of Youth Red Cross Society Prof. Edwin D’Souza, NSS Programme Officers Prof. Radhakrishna Gowda and Prof. Geetha Poornima coordinated the programme.
Ms. Chaithra welcomed the gathering. Ms. Preethi proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Sushmitha compered the programme.

Total 118 units of blood was collected on the occasion.
