Blood donation camp held at Milagres College, Kallianpur

Udupi: NSS, NCC and Rovers and Rangers’ units of Milagres College, Kallianpur near here, along with joint collaboration with Lions Club, Kallianpur, Rotary Club and Rotaract Club, Kallianpur and JCI, Kallianpur unit organized Blood Donation Camp at Milagres College on Tuesday, 13th September, 2016.

Dr. Gerald Pinto presided over the inaugural function. After the inauguration by lighting the lamp by Rev Dr. Prakash Anil Castelino, Campus Director of the college was stressed the need to collect the blood with the intention to something good for human survival. He pointed out the importance of donating blood to the needy. It is not important that how the collection of Blood, but it would be most important, how to use of blood when it need, he said.

Indian Red Cross Society Kundapur Blood Bank Chirman Shivaram Shetty, Sitharam Shetty, Ln Tolbert D’souza President of Lions Club, Rtn. Mohd Iqbal, President of Rotary Club, Purender Salian, President of JCI, Kallianpur, T. A. Bhat of Chavanya Laboratories, Ln. Ranjan Kumar Lions Club Udupi and large number of various association's members and representatives were present.
