‘Book exhibition and Sale’ at PG Centre of St Philomena College Puttur

Puttur: In view of National Library Week Celebration, the Library and Information Centre of Centre for PG Studies and Research, St Philomena College Puttur in association with Jnanaganga Book House Puttur organized ‘Book Exhibition and Sale’ on November 8 and 9, 2016 in PG Library Hall.

 

The Principal Prof. Leo Noronha inaugurated the programme and said, ‘Library is a store house of knowledge. It helps to enhance our knowledge and competitive skills.’

The PG students Ms. Nisha K of Commerce and Ms. Joyline M Rodrigues of Physics spoke about the significance of library.

The Public Relations Officer Prof. Dinakara Rao, the Librarians Mr. Manohara S G and Ms. Noothana Kumari M, the Proprietor of Jnanaganga Book House Mr. Sham Prasad and the member of Library Advisory Committee Mr. Praveen Prakash D’Souza were present on this occasion.

Ms. Anusha K welcomed the gathering. The convenor of Library Advisory Committee Rev. Fr Rithesh Rodrigues proposed the vote of thanks. Mr. Roshan Rosario compered the programme.
