Brahmavar: Scholarships and Financial Assistance by Sri Ram Charitable Trust Mudradi

Fourteenth annual distribution of scholarship to approximately 160 students and financial assistance to more than 90 poor widows, cancer patients and physically challenged was done on December 29 & 30, 2018 at Govt. P U College, Belmannu and 'Sri Ram' Mudradi respectively. Students from 13 colleges like MSRS, Hindu P U College, St. Mary's College, St. Mary's P U college, Shirva, Poorna Prajna P U College Admar, Govt. P U College Belmannu and Mudarangadi, Govt. First Grade and P U College, Amurtha Bharathi P U College, S R P U College, Hebri, Govt. First Grade and P U College Muniyal were given scholarships.

Sri Ram Charitable Trust was founded in 2005 by Drs. Pilar Manohar Prabhu and Mudradi Vasanthi Prabhu to help poor students, widows and patients from Pilar and Mudradi surroundings. Nearly Rs 15 Lakhs was distributed to the needy.

Janardhan Bhat, Principal Govt. P U College Belmannu and Sathish Pai, Industrailist & Trustee of Amurtha Bhatathi, Hebri were the Chief Guests at the occasion. Ganapathi Acharya of P U College Belmannu, C A Ravi Rao, President of Amurtha Bharathi Trust Hebri, and Ganapathi M spoke at the occasion. Members of the Trust Prakash Rao, Rajesh Mudradi, Madhava Mudradi were also present at the function.
