Mangaluru: "St Aloysius Gonzaga School received the British Council's International School Award for 2016-2019 conferred by the British Council. The award ceremony was held at The Taj Sanatacruz, in Mumbai, on December 15.”

Today, schools have a great challenge to prepare young people to live and work in an increasingly interconnected world, which requires all young people to have access to world-class teaching and learning experiences. With this in mind, St Aloysius Gonzaga School has introduced international dimensions to their curriculum right from the year of inception (2012). They achieve maximum impact from every learning project they undertake. They have been honoured the International School Award for the period 2013-2016 by the British Council, a UK international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities.

Their continued efforts of bringing internationalism into their curriculum and moulding their young learners as smart global citizens have made them achieve the International School Award for the second time, for the period 2016-2019.

In a scintillating ceremony held at Taj Santacruz in Mumbai, Ciarene Devane, chief executive of British Council conferred the award to the deserving 138 schools from all over India. The principal Grace Noronha received the award for the St Aloysius Gonzaga School. Aparna Suresh, ISA coordinator had represented the team of faculty, along with the principal. It is recognition for the School for its outstanding efforts to provide the best education through international dimension in the curriculum.
