Brothers meet tragic end in bus-autorickshaw collision

Karkala: An accident involving a mini bus and an autorickshaw at Shivapura near Hebri on October 2, Sunday evening claimed the lives of two brothers.

The deceased are Guruprasad (26) and his brother Vasanth (30). Of the two, Guruprasad was driving the autorickshaw. The brothers were on way to Hebri from Shivapura when the tragedy struck. The mini bus which was proceeding towards Udupi rammed against the autorickshaw killing Guruprasad on the spot.

Vasanth who was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries breathed his last later. The autorickshaw was badly mangled due to the impact of the collision. Hebri Police have registered a case.
