CCB Police arrest susupect in attempt to murder case

Mangaluru: Mangaluru CCB police have arrested a suspect in an attempted murder case. The suspect is identified as K Abdul Basheer (42) from Mijar Edapadavu. He was absconding after attempting to murder in July, 2016.

Basheer had assaulted Dharmendra and his friend Devu with wooden plank, nail and iron rod. He had led a gang of around 15 people to attack the victims. A police case was registered in Bajpe police station regarding this incident.

The court has awarded 15 days judicial custody to him. A police complaint against him has also been registered in Moodbidri police station.
