CID to probe Jaleel Karopady murder case

Bantwal: On the orders of the State Government, Jaleel Karopady murder case has been handed over to the CID. The officials have visited Karopady Gram Panchayat on September 25, to collect information in this regard.

Korapady Gram Panchayat Vice President Jaleel Karopady was brutally murdered by motorbike-borne masked assailants inside the Gram Panchayat building on April 20. Police have already arrested 11 persons in connection with Jaleel’s murder.

CID officials SP Anand and SP Sujith Karopady Gram Panchayat visited Jaleel’s house and collected information. Usman , Father of Jaleel Karpoady alleged that underworld operative Vikki Shetty alias Balakrishna Shetty is behind the murder of Jaleel.
