Udupi: CM H D Kumaraswamy visited Udupi Krishna Mutt for the first time after becoming CM of Karnataka. He also took blessings from Swamiji and later spoke to media.

When asked about alleged rift in Belguam Congress members, he said, " If I was in tension I would not have come to Udupi. Instead I would have sat in Bengaluru to do politics. What has happened in Belgaum? Who are the 13 rebels? You ask this question to Ramesh Jarakihalli himself. Why should I take tension? Our coalition government is stable. There is no misunderstanding or dissatisfaction. All are happy with us.The media is giving unnecessary deadlines on the government.

Though there was no pre-planned visiting programme, Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy visited the Sri Krishna Mutt. He later met Paryaya Palimarushri and got his blessing. Former Chief Minister Siddarammaih had created issue, when he did not visit Krishna Mutt even once in his five year term as CM.
