Career guidance programme held at Expert PU College

Mangaluru: “Engineering is the best option to pursue their future if they are passionate about research,” said Dr K V Gangadharan department of Physics, NIT-K, Surathkal. He was addressing the inauguration programme of `Career Guidance 2018’ of the 2nd PUC students of Expert PU College, Kodialbail.

He said that by joining engineering, students can put their ideas into innovations. He also gave the information regarding the seat matrix available in different Engineering Institutions. Thus, he inspired the students to opt for engineering.

In the second session, Dr G G Lakshman Prabhu, professor in Urology, KMC Hospital, Mangaluru, spoke about the future and importance of the medical profession in India. He also shared knowledge of how to face the challenges in medical field and its benefits. He further said that in order to become a successful Doctor, one should be service oriented and hardworking and should be able to diagnose the diseases of the patient and build confidence in him/her.

Prof Ramachandra Bhat, the principal of Expert PU College, Kodialbail, Karunakar Balkur, HOD of department of Kannada, Zita D’Souza, HOD of department of English and Laxman, lecturer in Physics were present during the programme.
